BruCells increases capital by 2 Million Euros to pursue the development of therapeutic vaccine against brain and kidney cancers

BruCells SA/NV, the Belgium based therapeutic vaccine cancer company, announces that its capital has been increased from 2.362.580 Euros to 4.362.580 Euros by issuing new shares to Biotec SA and to existing shareholders BI3 and Brustart. The proceeds will be used to fund the pharmaceutical and preclinical development of dendritic/tumour cell fusion vaccines against lethal forms of brain cancer and kidney cancer.

BruCells SA/NV, the Belgium based therapeutic cancer vaccine company, announces that its capital has been increased from 1.500.000 Euros to 2.362.580 Euros by contributions in kind from the partner universities and in cash from the Brussels Imagination, Innovation and Incubation fund (BI3) and Brustart, the seed capital company of the Brussels Regional Investment Company (SRIB – GIMB).

BruCells obtains a European Patent for therapeutic cancer vaccines based on dendritic cells/tumour cells hybrids

BruCells SA announces that it has received notification from the European Patent Office under Rule 51(4) of EPC that the patent application EP 96 911 493.3 shall be granted. The corresponding US patent application is still pending before the USPTO.
